Do you offer discounts?

Yes, on product that is not already discounted. Discount is not applied to shipping.

Can I check the status of my order after it has been placed?

Yes if you registered when you placed your order you will be able to view all of your orders placed online.

Will I receive a tracking number so I can trace my order and find out the approximate time of my delivery?

When your order leaves our building, UPS will send you an email with your tracking number.

Is this a secure site?

Absolutely! This site is protected using the “Internet Standard” SSL 128 bit encryption.

What is the best way to store candy?

It’s best to store chocolates in a cool dry area away from sunlight. Chocolate readily absorbs flavors and odors, so don’t hide your stash behind the spices or scented candles.

Can I freeze chocolate?

For long-term deferred pleasure, seal chocolates with plastic or foil before putting them in the freezer. Thaw for 24 hours in the fridge then “mellow” it on the counter until the outer wrapper is room temperature.

Are peanuts/tree nuts processed in your factory?

Yes. We are a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, egg, soy and wheat.

Do you carry Sugar-Free chocolates?

Yes. We carry Sugar-Free Chocolates. Note, however, that these products are not for use by diabetics without the advice of a Physician.

How much does it cost to ship my package?

Please refer to the table below for shipping charges per address through United Parcel Service (UPS) as well as the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) as needed. Expedited shipping rates are detailed and can be selected on the Review Your Order page during checkout.

How will my order ship?

Malley’s utilizes UPS as our primary carrier and turns to the USPS for packages intended for P.O. Boxes, Military Bases and the states of Alaska and Hawaii (which are not eligible for shipping upgrades).

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by 12:00 p.m. EST should ship the same day, Monday through Friday. After that time, placed orders will ship the next business day. Generally recognized holidays affect this schedule. Orders placed online Friday after 12:00 p.m. will ship the following Monday.

When will my order arrive?

All orders ship from Cleveland, Ohio. Reference the UPS time in transit map for delivery estimates in business days from our location. Please note ship date is NOT included in transit time.

What is your Warm Weather Shipping Policy?

The highly perishable nature of our products requires special packaging and shipping precautions during the warm weather months. It is very likely you will need to upgrade your shipping method based on the temperature in the zip code your order is to be delivered.

  • ICE PACKS cost $5 and typically last up to 48 hours in temperatures up to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • If you choose to remove the recommended Ice Pack from your cart, Malley’s is not responsible for melted product.
    • We also strongly recommend someone is there to receive the package, to avoid the chocolate sitting outside in warm temperatures.
  • When temperatures exceed 85 degrees, expedited shipping may not prevent heat damage. Customers should consider delaying their order until cooler temperatures prevail. Orders placed online Thursday after at 12:00 p.m. EST will ship the following Monday during warm months.

What if something goes wrong?

The carrier will attempt multiple deliveries before returning an item to Malley’s Chocolates. They may also leave the package at a “drop-off location” where the addressee can retrieve it.

Malley’s is not responsible for an incorrect shipping address, customer will be invoiced for packages returned to us. Additional shipping fees will be charged to send out a second time.

To report damaged or incorrect shipments, call our Customer Care department at 216.226.8300 or 800.275.6255 within 5 (five) business days or email Contact@malleys.com. Remember to keep the shipping container and its contents as carrier reserves the right to inspect in the event of damage.
